Will Hybrid NFT Domains Work?

Web2, Web2.5, Web3 or Web2.75 domains, to understand where I want to go with web3 domains without going into too much detail I will give you a summary of how the IP (internet protocol) works. All addresses on the internet are identified with a number and the same happens with the addresses in the blockchain.
Initially, numbers were assigned through IPv4 and 32-bit security, the problem was that no more than 5 billion addresses could be assigned and that is why IPv6 was created with 128-bit security, which can assign infinite addresses and once the 5G internet connection becomes widespread, the internet of things could become a reality; your refrigerator, stove and any other appliance can be assigned an internet address.
As far as domains are concerned, all the information is stored in the DNS (Domain Name System) and to make it easy to remember them, they are assigned a name, such as dchatpoll.com When you get this name, it is not a purchase. We pay for a lease of 1 to 10 years and if we do not renew it, we lose it regardless of whether we create a website or not. Anyone who wants information about that domain goes to a browser like Chrome or Edge. These browsers have a memory called cache and they look for that domain and if they do not find it, it is because they do not have it recorded in their memory yet. These browsers ask the local DNS server (local DNS Server) and if it does not have the information, they ask the root DNS server. If it does not have the information, the local DNS server asks the TLD DNS server. Here, this server informs whether that top level domain was registered or not, then the local server asks the authoritative DNS server, and this sends all the information to this local server and then it passes that information to the server that request it, our PC, Laptop etc. Once the information arrives there, the browser saves it in the memory so that when you ask for that same domain, you don’t have to go all the way around again.
Web2.5: a British company had patented a .tel domain technology, which began operating in 2009, we call it Web2.5, it was auto hosting, thousands of subdomains could be created almost instantly and therefore easy to create directories, it was auto SEO, and most importantly, all the information was stored directly in the heart of the DNS, any information requested went directly from here to the local server, avoiding going all that way, through that .tel technology, calling domains could have been created, instead of dialing your mobile numbers, just call yourbusiness.tel or yourname.tel and the call could be received, that meant that large domain register and hosting companies were not happy because their business was affected, as well telecommunications companies. In the end those big companies won and .tel abandoned its project and moved on to making a web2 domain like .com, .co etc. And therefore, many of us who invested time and money lost them.
Now we have Web3 or NFT domains, the transition for companies and people to move their domains from web2 to web3 could take a long time, fortunately with UnstoppableDomains (UD) TLD domains like .com, you can tokenize and if you are not happy you can reverse it and some web3 domains like .blockchain can transition to web2.
I sent an email to unstoppabledomains (UD) and I asked them some questions to clarify some things, but I did not receive a response so this is what I think.
Tokenised .com domains will continue to be controlled by ICANN and Web3 domains or NFTs that transition to web2 will be Web2.75, they will also be controlled by ICANN and another question I asked myself is: what will happen when a new .blockchain domain controlled by ICANN is acquired or purchased, will it have to be renewed every year? And I also wonder what will happen if our Web3 domains like .blockchain transition to Web2, will we have to pay leasing annually or will we just stick with using these NFT domains on web3? I assume if we move our Web3 domains to Web2 we must renew it, but if we keep it as a Web3 domains we will not pay to renew them.
As I see it, they are going to make hybrid domains, that I will call it Web2.75 very close to 3, except some like .GO that will be 100% Web3 domain, but I am sure that decentralisation will come, that is why here at dchatpoll.com we are helping with a grain of sand to make this transformation a reality sooner rather than later, so do not hesitate and participate in our chat groups.
